Peter J. Johnson, Esq., President and Chief Fiduciary Officer, is responsible for directing all fiduciary activities for the firm, including risk management and oversight of trust and estate administration, coordination and development of the firm’s special needs trust and guardianship administration practice, and partnering with advisors to the firm’s clients to administer sophisticated wealth planning strategies including trust and estate planning, wealth management, and business succession planning.
Previously Mr. Johnson was Senior Vice President/Director of Special Needs Trust and Guardianship Services at The Pennsylvania Trust Company and in practice with the boutique Philadelphia trusts and estates law firm Heckscher, Teillon, Terrill & Sager, P.C. Mr. Johnson has spent nearly twenty years as a practicing attorney counseling corporate fiduciaries and individuals in the topics of fiduciary litigation and trust and estate planning.
Mr. Johnson is a frequent speaker to other attorneys on the topics of trust and estate administration, guardianships, and powers of attorney. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and was recently named to the Executive Committee of the Probate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law and the University of Puget Sound, and lives in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter.
